the world is changable

Starting my story with “I was high” or “I was getting high” should not invalidate the importance of my experience, because I am totally high for most experiences of my waking life. That said, I was getting high with Jay at Griffith Park when I had this revelation: We could forever change the course of history by setting fire to the Hollywood sign. We would be in History books. “What if they don’t rebuild it?” Jay said. We decided to dig a three-foot hole instead, in the Observatory path. Maybe just changing history for one person, but changing history nonetheless.
