The day god gave me his power

You know how small you feel compared to the night stars? You should see yourself next to God. Or maybe no. You’d want to kill yourself. In a time when I was feeling overwhelmed by my life, God let me try out his power for an evening. Immediately, a billion prayers competed for my ear. I focused on just one. It was so small and pathetic, shrill and annoying. I listened to the animals instead. The lush pastiche of howls and whistles was selfless and natural, stunning and perfect. The animals move in God’s likeness. Man is just a knock-off.
