Sophie: the flying golfer

Errol sat at his desk after a round on the links to type the story he had imagined that day. He stayed up all night – Marla served dinner in the computer room – and in the morning, he sharpened a pencil and began to draw the hero and her enchanted clubs…

By Christmas, Errol had completed the book, along with binding and full-color illustrations. The kids and grandkids came over for dinner and presents. When Errol saw the clever books with the beautiful artwork that his grandkids toted around like trophies, he quietly hid his gift upstairs, under the bed.
