Repeating Yesterday

Arrive at bus stop at exactly 7:00. Fleet Avenue bus is on time, as it is approximately eighty-three percent of the time. Get aboard at 7:05, sit in usual seat. Arrive downtown at 8:10, disembark at Fleet and Twelfth Street.

Buy regular coffee at the newsstand: two creams, one sugar. Ride leftmost elevator up to tenth floor, walk two flights up the rest of the way to twelve. There is a temp at the front desk. Do not panic. Ask for messages, be sure to clearly state name. Thank her politely. Proceed to office.

Continue with day as per usual.
