Pull My Daisy

Alison and I lived with Grandma last summer and some of her old lady sayings really rubbed off on us. We were eating breakfast before the first day of school, and Alison spilled Lucky Charms milk on her new white shirt. She said Pull my daisy! Mom dropped the spoon she was washing in the sink. That night, I woke up to pee, and when I walked by my parent’s boudoir, I heard them mulin’ around. Mom kept going Pull my daisy! Pull my daisy! All loud and excited. Grandma’s old lady sayings must have rubbed off on Mom, too.
