Of Half A Mind

Half a Mind
Jonathan Squared sat in their double-seated chair and struggled with all four hands to get the Wheaties open. Right Jonathan cursed and slapped the hands of Left Jonathan.

“You’re making it harder for both of us,” Righty Said. “There’s a proper way to open these things.” Righty slid his finger under the lid and pulled the bag out of the box.

“Where’s the coupon?” Left Jonathan ripped open the bag, which exploded like a water balloon. Meanwhile, Right Jonathan clipped the mail-in form from the box.

The special edition Double-Header helmet arrived six to eight weeks later.
