nanotubes ate my soul!

We trusted the Japanese with the first synthetic circulatory system. But when the Artecs, who we’ve only known for ten years, friendly for five, offered to supply the bio-metallic ore from an undisclosed solar system, we should have taken pause.

Turns out we’re more than atoms. Turns out there’s something unquantifiable that we’ve sensed for years, but which progress had constantly overshadowed. Turns out you need a completely Earthborn body to keep it in tact.

If you ask Brian Humphries if he feels different today than before surgery, he will assess the question briefly before replying, “Which feel?”
