I spent last Christmas in an iron lung.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

It’s been quite a year for me. Bet you didn’t even know tuberculosis sanitariums still exist. And how would you, seeing as nobody ever visits me? Except Janet. (Love you girl!)

Coughing up blood-flecked sputum keeps me pretty busy, but I somehow find time for a social life. Just yesterday, I met the sweetest guy during crafts. His name is Jose. He made me a potholder. I hope he lives.

Enjoy your holidays, surrounded by people you love. And don’t worry about me. At least they took me out of the iron lung for Thanksgiving.

Love,
Molly
