Good bye major mom

“Earth to Major Mom.”

“This is Major Mom.”

“Deb, thank God, I’ve been trying to reach you for an hour.”

“I was in the rover.”

“Can’t you take your radio with you?”

“… No.”

“We want you to come home.”

“…”

“Deb?”

“Are the kids there?”

“No, it’s just me.”

“Don’t call me anymore, OK? I left for a reason.”

“I know. We miss you.”

“I’m going to disconnect this line. I’ll contact the kids when it’s time.”

“Time? For what?”

“…”

“Deb?”
