Because it is never what you expect.
Because there is always something more terrible.
Because you can’t keep fooling yourself.
Because they are just people like you.
Because this is your only chance.
Because tomorrow will soon be yesterday.
Because pain is temporary, but anticipation is forever.
Because you have lied long enough.
Because clocks will keep ticking.
Because you won’t be afraid anymore (or you will be).
Because fairness is a construct.
Because good things can be found in the darkness.
Because everything will change.
Because death is the only inevitable thing.
Because there are ghosts everywhere else, too.
