“God, I’m full,” said the man from seat 11C.
“I can’t remember the last time I ate that much,” the woman from 23F agreed.
Beside her, the little boy from 8A slept blissfully, the ring of grease around his mouth reflecting the flickering light of the campfire.
The old woman from 2A sniffed disdainfully. “You’re disgusting, all of you,” she proclaimed.
“You sure weren’t complaining a couple minutes ago,” 11C shot back. “‘Course, it’s hard to complain with your mouth full, isn’t it?”
“Shut up, you guys!” the flight attendant yelled, then went back to fiddling with the busted radio.
