Christian Got a Comic Book

For his birthday, Christian got a Batman and Robin comic book. We couldn’t think of a present, so we stole it and pasted pictures of his mother over Robin’s face, so now it was a comic book about Batman, who lived with Christian’s mom. That night, Christian’s mom got rear-ended outside Schnuck’s and her face went through the windshield. Later, Christian always talked about how he couldn’t believe we stole his comic book the same day his mom got in a car accident and scarred up her face. It was the best thing he could have thought of us.
